Even though I work with web design on my spare time beside my regular job, I have a professional approach to web design, and I am continuously studying and learning about web design, such as HTML and CSS, JavaScript, Flash, database management in MySQL and PHP-programming as well as picture management.

My hourly rate is also lower than the one of a full time working web developer. Depending on the complexity and size of your homepage my fee is 300 SEK (≈$37,5) per hour, with a minimum of 5000 SEK (≈$625) charged, Tax (25%) excluded. Half of the estimated price is paid when signing the Contract and the rest when the homepage is online and finished. If you are interested, I will send a more detailed price list.

Depending on the size and complexity of your site, the time will vary from a few weeks to several months before it is online. That also depends on how well our communication functions.

To accomplish a well functioning homepage and good cooperation, the following is required:

  • Every homepage is thoroughly planned and discussed before the work starts. All ideas of size, colour schemes, pictures, and cgi-programs are discussed here.
  • Agreement of how many pages, pictures, scripts, sounds and cgi-programs are in the site, is included in a Contract signed by both me and the costumer. The Contract includes estimated working hours and price. The costumer understands that the estimated amount of working hours can change to less or more during the progress of the work.
  • If any pages, pictures - static or animated, scripts, sound, guest book, or other possible features, are added after the Contract is signed, the estimated working hours and price will change accordingly.
  • All material is sent to me by email and/or on CD.
  • All text material is written in a Word document and saved with the .doc extension.
  • All pictures should be saved as TIFF (best) or JPG (alright if the resolution and size is high enough). Resolution of pictures should be 300 dpi. Pictures can be saved on CD or sent by email.
  • A page can not be finished if the material is not sent.
  • I keep in touch every time I make a change, add material to the homepage, or when I have a question. I expect communication both ways. This means all response is welcome - and required.
  • If you have a Swedish site and want an English version of it, I can make the translation. This matter is discussed from the start and included in the Contract. The translation time and price is relatively equivalent and comparable with those of professional translators in Sweden.
  • To upload the homepage to the web I need the information you have received from your web hotel, such as Host name (domain name or such), User ID, Password and web address.
